Mumford & Sons are a Folk / Bluegrass group formed in London in September of 2007. Having received critical acclaim from the Guardian on their ?Band of the Day? online forum and resounding praise from nearly everyone who has witnessed them supporting Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons continue to turn heads in London?s growing folk scene.

Their debut EP, ?Lend me your Eyes? features 4 stunning tracks written in the short space of 3 months. Including lead single ?Roll Away Your Stone? which was Radio 2?s single of the week 15th - 22nd July, 2008. Chess Club released their second EP 'Love Your Ground' on the 3rd of November on 10inch.
The third and final EP 'The Cave and The Open Sea' (which is limited to 500 vinyls) is available as a download from their official rawrip page.
An album is expected to be released in September, which will be supported by a headline UK tour.

The line up consists of Marcus Johnstone [Drums, Guitar, Vocals] - Country Winston [Banjo, Slide Guitar, Vocals] - Ted Dwayne [Double Bass, Vocals] - Ben Lovett [Keys, Vocals].
